Quantum products are built to the highest standard of quality and performance to keep you on the water and off the warranty page. However, if you do experience problems, we are committed to doing everything we can to solve the problem as quickly and painlessly as possible.

Quantum products are covered by different warranties, which are explained below.


Quantum PT 3-Year Extended Warranty

Every current in-line PT reel now comes with our exclusive PT Protection Plan, giving you additional piece of mind that, should you experience a problem, you’ll be back on the water ASAP.

All Quantum PT reels come with our standard 1-year Quantum warranty. When you register your PT reel within 60 days of purchase, you receive an additional two years of warranty protection. Along with the 3 years of protection you’ll receive exclusive newsletters, special offers and insider information about new products.

The Quantum PT 3-Year Extended Warranty covers the following product families that were purchased after July 1, 2017:

Quantum PT Rod 5-Year Limited Warranty

All Quantum PT rods come with a 5-year Quantum warranty giving you peace of mind that if you have a problem, you can count on us to take care of you. To qualify for the 5-Year Limited Warranty you must be the original owner of the rod and you need to register your product.

The Quantum PT Rod 5-Year Limited Warranty covers the following product families that were purchased after July 1, 2017:

    • G-Force Gerald Swindle Signature Rods
    • Prism Rods
    • Smoke Inshore Rods
    • Smoke S3 Rods
    • Tour KVD Rods
    • Tour Special Issue Rods
    • Vapor Rods

All other Quantum rods are covered by the Standard Quantum 1-Year Limited Warranty.


Standard Quantum 1-Year Limited Warranty North America (U.S and Canada)

For all Quantum products not covered by the Quantum PT 3-Year Warranty or the Quantum PT Rod 5-Year Limited Warranty.

Quantum products are warranted for a period of one (1) year from date of original retail purchase against defects in workmanship and/or materials. For defective products contact Customer Support for specific directions on how you can obtain service and/or parts for your Quantum product.

These warranties do not cover Quantum products damaged due to abuse or misuse. These warranties do not cover normal or excessive wear, including but not limited to any wear of the product caused by neglect of cleaning and lubrication required. These warranties do not cover any general service requirements due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.

Quantum products not covered by the Quantum Limited Warranty may be repaired at a nominal charge to the purchaser, provided parts are available and the product is returned with return postage prepaid.

"ALL INCIDENTAL AND/OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARE EXCLUDED FROM THIS WARRANTY INSERT. IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE LIFE OF THIS WARRANTY. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER LEGAL RIGHTS WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE."

The warranties described herein shall be the sole and exclusive warranties granted by Quantum and shall be the sole and exclusive remedy available to the purchaser. Correction of defects, in the manner and time period described herein, shall constitute complete fulfillment of all liabilities and responsibilities of Quantum to the purchaser with regard to this product, and shall constitute full satisfaction of all claims, whether based on contract, negligence, strict liability or otherwise. Quantum shall not be liable or in any way responsible for any damages or defects caused by repairs or attempted repairs performed by anyone other than an authorized servicer. Nor shall Quantum be liable, or in any way responsible, for any incidental or consequential personal or property damage. Quantum reserves the right to amend or change these warranties at any time.

THESE WARRANTIES GIVE YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER LEGAL RIGHTS WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

The provisions of these warranties are in addition to, and not a modification of, or a subtraction from, the statutory warranties and other rights and remedies contained in any applicable legislation. To the extent that any provision of these warranties is inconsistent with any applicable law, such provision shall be deemed voided or amended as necessary, to comply with such law.

How to Process a Warranty Claim

To process a warranty claim, do the following:

  1. Contact customer support via email or at 800-588-9030 (international calls: 918-836-5581, option 1) to obtain a Warranty Case Number.

    If you live outside the U.S. or Canada, please contact your dealer for warranty assistance.

  2. Package and ship the product directly to us (address below). In the package you must include the following:
    • Name, address, phone and email (download form here)
    • If you haven’t registered the product online, a copy of the sales receipt to prove it is covered by the Standard 1-Year Limited Warranty
    • An explanation of what is wrong with the product
    • If the claim is for a rod, you may cut the rod in half for ease of shipping the product

  3. Once our warranty department receives your product, we will process the claim and determine if it is covered by the warranty. If it is covered, we’ll ship the repaired or replacement product and provide a tracking number. If it is not covered by the warranty, we’ll be in touch to let you know. Warrantied products will be returned via ground unless other arrangements are made prior to shipment.
